startup in 1959 when Ray Kissel agreed to handle the
accounting for several service stations. Today K&A is one
of the most sought-after CPA firms in North Central Ohio,

Success didn't come easy though. Ray often jokes that he
graduated from the "School of Hard Knocks" as he
reminisces about working a fulltime job to support his family
while building his business and studying for the CPA exams.
Yet Ray's love of accounting urged him on. From home
office to leased offices to, ultimately, its own building,
Kissel & Associates now boasts a healthy client base from
a wide range of industries. A persistent, "can do"
